Mark Salisbury is a distinguished showrunner, director, and producer, boasting an impressive 27-year journey through the dynamic world of animation. His illustrious career has been marked by multiple Emmy Awards, a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence in every facet of the animation industry.
Formerly serving as a Supervising Producer at Sony Pictures Entertainment/Kids, Mark contributed his visionary leadership and creative prowess to elevate animated productions to new heights. Prior to this, he held a pivotal role at Nickelodeon Animation Studios, where he served as the Co-Executive Producer for the Emmy Award-winning series "Bubble Guppies" and "Butterbean's Cafe," as well as the Executive Producer for "The BeatBuds: Let's Jam." His dedication to crafting captivating, innovative content has left an indelible mark on the animation landscape.
Mark's journey in animation began in 1996 as a freelance animator, but his exceptional talents quickly led him to Nickelodeon in 1998, where he took the reins as a director and lead animator for the Peabody and Emmy Award-winning series "Little Bill." Since then, he has lent his creative vision to a diverse array of projects for SpikeTV, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Marvel, Sony, and 4Kids Entertainment, consistently delivering animation of the highest caliber.
In 2004, Mark ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing his own animation studio. Here, he produced and animated beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shorts, music videos, and a plethora of animation brilliance, further solidifying his reputation as a trailblazer in the industry.
Before his illustrious animation career, Mark Salisbury brought his dedication and leadership to the sports world, serving as an assistant football coach at Yale University. His exceptional achievements in football and baseball earned him a well-deserved induction into the Northeastern University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mark finds fulfillment in his personal life. He resides in New York with his girlfriend, Melanie, and their blended family.
